welcome back to the Really Rahaf podcast. Here I am joining you in my living room office. My desk is a vanity. So if you could see my setup, I have like those Hollywood lights. That's what I think of them. Like those nice circular bulbs around my mirror. Those are my ring lights. I'm looking out my balcony glass door at a beautiful gloomy day in West LA. And I love these days so much. So this is where I am. I'm filming this one week before the launch.
So you're listening to this probably on lunch day, on my birthday. And in today's episode, we're to be talking about the one-off session versus the container high ticket model for your service-based business. So you might not even know what a one-off session is. So if you don't, it's basically one call at a time with your client versus a three month length of time, six months, 12 months, et cetera. Or you might be listening to this and you're like,
I know what a one-off session is, but I don't know how to get out of selling them. I'm going to show you how to do that today. And you could also be listening to this thinking, I know what it is, but I don't know why I should listen to you. Talk about it. And the reason why I'm so passionate about talking about this is I tell my clients and I ask them, what do you want to yell from the rooftop? Like, what do you want to speak about? What do you need every person to know?
And I use this to structure my conversations, these podcast episodes. This is a topic that I want to yell from the rooftop. And I want to do it in a way where it's not the average way speaking to you about this. So my unique position in presenting to you this information is the smoke and the science being blended together. So you know me, I'm a very smoky person. I believe in manifestation. I believe in things that you can't touch. have evidence.
for days, for days about what I've been able to manifest and bring into my life through energetics and intuition. And I'm also a PhD student. So I love to blend in the science. I love to look at peer-reviewed research and psychological studies. I was a graduate school professor teaching psychology. So I have two very dominant parts about me that blend that smoke in with the science. So you're getting a very unique perspective on our conversations together.
because this is also the stuff I'm going to be studying and presenting in my dissertation research. So everything is aligned. All of my energy is fulfilling all the different parts of my life. And the reason is because we're not going to be just doing the fluffy in here. So I roll up my sleeves with you. I track KPIs. Everything you're getting is validated. And if it's the experimentation, you also know I love to experiment. I'm constantly experimenting.
So this is one of those structures that has been a cornerstone in my business. When I first built my business, I went straight into the high ticket model. I first did one month, which wasn't quite the container model, but I got my first client, one month container, and then I started doing three months, six months, 12 month containers. It is how I scaled my business from zero to $100K in less than a year. It is what my clients are building with me in our containers that they have with me.
They go from one off sessions, $1,000 three month container to one of them just signed a high ticket client at $6,000 paid in full and we've been working 30 days together. And I share this with you because this work happens fast. So if you are that person that's like, oh my God, I know I'm hustling every month. I don't know how I'm going to have this consistent lead flow with clients because I'm working call to call.
you are going to get so much from this episode. And the main reason why is it's an outdated business model to operate from one call at a time, one off session, one off session. The container model, the three, six, 12 month container is a freedom based business model. So it doesn't matter who you are. If you're not a coach, if you are a healer of any kind, a Reiki healer, astrology,
If you are a yoga teacher, doesn't matter who you are and what you do, you're still coaching because you're holding that space for your clients. So if you're using this 2019 model where you're only doing one call at a time, we need to talk. Let's talk about why it doesn't serve your client. A, they don't have a longer period of time to see their transformation. Think about it from the client's perspective. They're not able to see the wins.
because it's just one call at a time and they could very easily not book another call. So when you have a container, you can very easily see that point A to point Z because you're guiding them through that transformation. You have milestones, you have weekly milestones, monthly milestones, you're able to tangibly see it. Whereas with one-off calls, the client can't even see it in themselves. And that doesn't give momentum, that doesn't give that energy, that spark to keep going.
It doesn't serve your client because B, the high ticket investment gives them a buy-in. It gives them a reason to show up. What is money? What is money? Money is energy. Money is not anything but energy. So when they're able to have this buy-in, this opt-in to themselves and the transformation, the high ticket structure gives them that extra energy to show up for it. They show up more powerfully. They show up with intention.
They show up because they know that they believe in themselves so hard to make it happen. And it gives them skin in the game. So being able to have that investment for yourself, it gives your client a reason to put some skin in the game, to invest in their business, to invest in themselves. And that is part of the transformation they get to witness. Now let's look at why it doesn't serve you. You as a coach, you as the business owner, you're hustling every month with the unknown.
of who is going to be your client. The one-off calls does not give us that structure to be able to have a calendar laid out. Like you should see my spreadsheets. Thanks to Mike. He's my partner. all my KPIs, everything we're tracking piece by piece. So I'm able to see like, know, okay, my dream life needs X amount of dollars per month. Therefore it needs this many clients to hit this many dollars. So you're able to reverse engineer your revenue goals very strategically by knowing how many clients do you need in a three month container? So when they're one month in two months in, you can start to
look ahead of, this person is one month away from the three month ending, let's go in with a renewal strategy. So you're not going into each month blind, you know exactly what to expect for three, six, 12 months at a time. And guess what happens to you when you feel grounded in that.
Your intuition can pour in. You can take action from this abundant place. You're not making decisions out of scarcity. You're not saying yes to clients that don't actually align with you, but you need the money and you need to hit your goals. It's a more genuine and authentic business when you're able to feel so above water with your day to day. You're not scrambling. You're not hustling. You're not on the fire frequency. a place we all know very well where we justify our life to be centered around work and building our business that we forget to do the things we love. The things that are not visibly income producing activities, but going to yoga, going on the night walk, doing the full moon ritual. We start to those things on the back burner because we are so on the fire frequency cortisol is just shooting through our brain and we just need to move, move, move. So
By having a container structure, it gives you that stability. It gives you that peace with yourself to know that, I can serve myself so hard because guess what? That's the version of you that your clients are gonna see because they're attuning and they're connecting to your nervous system. So when we're showing up in that hustle and that dysregulation because you're coming from a place of scarcity, they're gonna feel that. Your social media content.
They're going to feel that energy is so powerful. Maybe you've seen my Reiki videos. I have another account, @reiki Rahaf, I moved them all there. You can feel the energy of the Reiki through a screen. So think about that. What do you need to do for yourself to have this stability and this predictability that you deeply crave in your business? This high ticket model gives you that. So
Let's make it make no sense when I work with my clients, when we're debunking this deep limiting belief, which is, oh my God, you're probably thinking this. Oh my God, can I really charge this? Can I really charge this price? Is this enough value? Can I really do this? That's the voice, isn't it? So let's make it not make sense and really isolate the money limiting beliefs from that story.
If I have a brand new client, no business name, we immediately go into, okay, this is your offer, $3K three months. But an established business owner, could be listening and you're like, I've been doing this for a minute, one-off calls, we're starting at that $6K.
It's not that much. In fact, it's not enough because your energy, your time, everything that you've invested in yourself, the certifications, the trainings, the college education, think about how much you've invested in yourself. Think about how much you're working on yourself. So this is just like the science part about it, but the smoke part about it, it's your energy, your lived experience, your story is what your clients get to see and to be in your energy of.
They're paying for access to your energy. And the higher frequency your energy is, they will transform. They will, it just collapses timelines. So the more you take care of yourself, the faster you will see the transformation for your clients because that's the version they see of you. And logistically, do the math. Divide it by the calls. And that's the science part. It makes no sense.
to just do one off call, one off call. Another reason, a container, it gives the client a reason to never give up on themselves. They're not floating in outer space, unregulated. They're not taking action from their fear, clouded in their own biases, their own limiting beliefs. Imagine taking action from unaligned, inauthentic decision making for your business. Where would we be?
As someone who's worked with the same coach for four years, she's the reason that I can take bold action and stay in alignment with my values. Because I don't want to take action from bias. I need someone to hold the mirror for me. People are like, how do you move so fast? How are you already this far into your business so fast? Because I have a coach.
and that's what you get to be for your clients too. They get to move fast in a regulated space with you because they know that they're connected. The way I see it, I think of this like in my head, I see this picture and imagine you're like in this cave and you wanna go deep and deep and deep in this cave. You wanna discover, you wanna dig in and just imagine yourself in this cave. You can close your eyes if you're not driving.
You wanna just get all of the gems from inside the cave, but what happens in the cave? It's dark, it's scary, you don't know what's gonna be on the other side, but imagine you have this rope and this harness around you. So you have full safety in yourself to go as deep into the cave you want, regardless of how dark it is, because you know there's a rope attached to you. That's what it feels like to me to have a coach.
that no matter what, no matter how many times I've told her, was like, I wanna give up. She's there. She's there holding the mirror. She's not telling me what to do. She's holding the mirror. And that's what you get to do. So the container structure, also, it makes your business predictable. Once again, all of this, we're making it not make sense anymore to go through this one-off session model. It lets you feel abundant.
It lets you stay in your magnetic frequency. And this is why clients continue to renew. I have clients from day, very beginning of my business, like in the beginning days that are still my clients because they keep renewing in a 12 month container. So if you know you need five clients a month to live your dream life, three of them are renewing. Well, that means every three months you only need to bring in two clients.
Like I just let out a sigh of relief because that's how you get to feel on a day to day. Because I know, I know that feeling of hustling every month, not knowing who your next client is going to be. And we can't create from that place. Nobody wins when you settle for one-off calls. So.
what I want you to do starting right now, because I know you're feeling the shifts. I know you're feeling little tingles of the possibilities of, hey, this is possible. Build your high ticket container. Let it be fun. Map it out. Map out your offer A to Z. Identify these pieces using the acronym BLOOM. B, bold promise. L, lived experience. O, offer structure.

with the frequency that you actually wanna be on, the one that's regulated. It's kind of like going on a first date and we put on this mask. Well, what happens after six months? The mask eventually comes off, you get used to it. So we don't wanna put a mask on when we're making content and not being that abundant regulated part of ourselves because then the client comes in, they're like, wait.
This doesn't make sense because I came in thinking that you were this version, but now I don't see this version on the calls. So we want to be consistent with the way that we show up with our energy because our clients, they're investing in us because of our energy. So make it make no sense.
