Rahaf (00:44)
Hi, welcome back to the Really Rahaf podcast. I it's funny because I told myself this week, I guess I'm gonna do a solo episode this week, but at the last minute, I have this incredible, incredible student success story. I brought Nikki on to share a little bit about her journey in Revenue Room. And my goodness, you're in for a ride. So
Nikki, I just want you to take a moment to introduce yourself and just kind of say like how we met, how long ago it was, and then from there we'll just start to dive a little deeper.
NIkki (01:14)
Hi, my name is Nikki. I currently, well recently was working in a hospital, in a rehab hospital, for about three years now. I was really kind of looking at my next step in my career because I didn't want to stay where I was and I was just kind of in the field of high-ticket sales or maybe I was gonna go back to school for radiology, but then I was just following a couple people then Vy from revenue room
reached out to me and Rahaf reached out to me as well through Instagram. And so I booked a call with her and we met. We had two calls and yeah since then life has been crazy and it's been kind of quickly. It's only been about two months since I joined Revenue Room. So it's it's been a wild ride for sure.
Rahaf (02:01)
Two
months and you landed a role. You landed not just any role, you landed an elite role. And we're gonna get all into that, but let's kind of map the timeline a little bit. Can you tell us a little bit about what it was like when you first made the decision to say, yes, like I'm doing this? Like what that felt like for you, in full honesty, because it's so real. Like you had such a real experience. So let's talk about like what that first day and that first week felt like for you.
NIkki (02:31)
well, when I initially was taking the call, I was just first diving into high ticket sales. It wasn't even that long. So I'm the type of person that really takes time with her decisions because I mean from the past I've made some mistakes, which has really scared me to kind of make decisions very quickly. but I had that I'm done moment at my job where it felt like I was just like, I cannot be here. I
And so stressed all the time. I would come home and like I would have a headache. I felt like my body was bloated all the time. And so I was like, you know what? I got this Instagram message. Let me just take a step into it and see what happens. You know, it doesn't hurt to just take a call. And so I kind of took that call and was able to talk to you, Rahaf. And it was just like it opened my mind to something different, especially even just like listening to that first podcast of yours when you talked about
seeing the world vr in the red pill versus the blue pill. And so I was definitely as a it's a blue pill world. 'cause that's how I grew up. I'm Filipino, so you know like safety, safety, safety is like the biggest thing. And growing up too, like with sales, I never in my life, ever in my life thought I would get into sales. I was like, I don't like talking to people for a couple of years. I looked for jobs specifically so I didn't have to talk to people. So I was like
I don't know if I can do this, but my goal with this was to have the lifestyle that I wanted, to be able to kind of travel and work from anywhere, to take time with my family, not worried about if I have enough PTO. Like it's just to be able to have a job where I can experience and actually live life. So definitely from that first phone call, that the phone calls were great. I was like, you know what? I had my i'm done moment.
I'm gonna take this call and I think at the second sales call my objection was money. I I wanna say that's what it was. I mean I had it, but of course it was just like, do I take this risk? You know? And then talking to you, Rahaf, you really like set me in that direction. You're like, it's fine, like this it's up to you, but if you want it to work out, it will work out. And then so I took that call and I I I think I stepped into the revenue room that day too.
And then I think everything went upside down the next couple of days. Rahaf remembers that. Yeah.
Rahaf (05:00)
What happened?
Can you tell us a little bit about what happened those next couple of days?
NIkki (05:04)
Yeah, I mean like this was the first investment in myself that I took that was very high ticket and for myself at least and so the next I I don't think I had a call with you Rahaf until two days later. So then I kind of went to work the next day and I was sitting there and I was just like what the heck did I do? I have no experience in sales.
I don't know anything about this program. I said yes to a program that I probably should have asked more questions on the call, but I was just in my like, I need to change my life. I'm like, please, please, please, just change it. And then the next day, that's when everything kind of hit. Like all the my nine to five like mindset hit me so, so badly. I think I was like drafting an email the whole day, like looking through the conditions, being like,
Can I return this? Can I return this? Because there's no way I can do this. I typed up a whole email being like, please, please, please, can I return this? I made such a mistake. Like, I can't believe I'm doing this. And I I I honestly like that whole day at work, I could not even think. I think I was just like red. I had a headache because I'm like, what happened? What did I do? I have to return this. There's no way, there's no way.
And then I emailed you that really long message. I'm like, please, please let me return this. And she was like, Hey, you know, calm down. Let's just let's take some time and talk in our next call. I was so stressed out. It was insane.
Rahaf (06:34)
And you talk to people, right?
NIkki (06:36)
Yeah, so after that call with you, you kind of definitely like set me down. You're like, hey, like it's okay. This is definitely the nine to five blue pill world mindset that everybody gets hit with the next day. And I was just like, my gosh, like what did I just do? And so I started doing some research and kind of like looking through the threads, being like
There has to be somebody in the same position as me, somebody who still works part-time and is going through the same thing. And I remember I was looking through all of the threads and I found Rya Rya she was in the same exact situation as me. And then I think she was working in nine to five as well. And she was a month in, so I messaged her independently and I was like, hey,
How are you doing in this program? I see that you work in nine to five. How do you make the time to do this? what are you doing at the moment? And she was like so so nice, and she hopped on a call with me and kind of explained the program where she was with it, 'cause she didn't have any experience in sales too, but she definitely was like, just keep going, just start practicing. you can do this. Everyone is at the same level. a lot of the girls in here, like don't have sales experience, so like don't be scared and
That really helped me out.
Rahaf (07:52)
Yeah, yeah. And I love that you started connecting with the other women in there because it's so easy to feel alone
in the journey of like, my God, like I need to be this person. I need to be this far. I need to do this. But you leaned in, you embraced it. And it turned off that logical mind because the logical mind kicked in. And that's why it's like we even like waited an extra day for a call. we we should have done that day and that call in 24 hours. It was 48 hours. I don't remember what happened. But that's when that's like such a normal experience where it's
You get out of the energy of the call, and then your brain kicks in. It's like, my God, what did I do? did I make the right decision? And then you start talking to people in the blue pill world and then they reinforce the decision you made. And then you get even deeper. And then coming
NIkki (08:32)
Yeah.
Rahaf (08:33)
out of that, like you fully embrace coming out of that. I mean, I remember that call and you're like, Rahaf I want to refund it. And I was like, I remember exactly what I told you. I was like, if the if I was a personal trainer and you got to the gym on the first day, the second day, and you're like, I want to quit, I don't want to do Like,
What kind of personal trainer would that be to quit when things get hard?
NIkki (08:52)
Yeah.
Rahaf (08:53)
And from that moment, you were just fired up and you just had to remember your current situation of like, well, what's the alternative? Staying in where you were or taking this bet on yourself and changing your situation. And I remember you saying too, you're like, I want my life to change by December. And we're in freaking,
NIkki (09:08)
Yeah.
Rahaf (09:09)
we are in freaking August. We're in August.
NIkki (09:12)
Yeah.
Rahaf (09:13)
And we'll talk more about the middle, but tell me where you are now from literally two months ago.
tell us what happened in the past week.
NIkki (09:22)
my goodness. So in the past week, I think it was just last week, I had an interview with an offer on Tuesday and it really, really aligned. And then that Friday she asked me to do a mock interview with her just to kind of see how the discussion would go. And then last Friday I got the offer. Mind you, this was my very first interview for an offer at all. Like I remember
when we kind of talked about that first conversation when I got back 48 hours, like I was definitely still in that mindset of like, I need that security, I need that security. And so in my head I was thinking, you know, she has a job board. She said they help find jobs. And I was like, it was like week twelve that it opens up, right? So I'm like, I just have to make it there. I have to make it there. I have to make it there. my gosh. I'm like on week ten and I got my offer. I didn't even make it there before I got that offer. It's insane.
Rahaf (10:13)
You you didn't need to.
You didn't need to because
NIkki (10:15)
Yeah.
Rahaf (10:16)
listeners, here's what happened. There is a job board. Yeah, there's a job board. And we're like very appealed to the job board, like coming in, like, okay, there's a job board. But it's not even about that. Here's what happened. Nikki started showing up so powerfully. And she showed up to this mock call and she mocked our pre-handling objection portion of Radiance. And she flipping blew me away. And I have been currently talking with this offer owner who owns this elite offer who coaches.
CEOs that are within the seven to nine figure income range of like the identity work. So this is a very elite offer. The closers on that offer are making $20K to $30k a month. And when I saw Nikki mock that phase, which I had never seen her do before, not only was I like, this is this first time like she's mocked this phase of Radiance, I can only imagine how much more of a skill set she's gonna gain. That was the first thing going through my mind.
Second thing, it was so recent that this woman was saying to me, like, hey, like, I want some girls that are aligned, that really value feminine energy, that are trained in NLP. And I'm like, bam, stars aligned, sent Nikki her way. So she didn't even need a job board. All she did was show up, stand out, make me be like, my God, I need to connect you with someone. I need to get you on something good because you deserve it. And within a week, she had her first interview, she had her second interview, and now she landed the role. And then what else did you do, Nikki?
NIkki (11:39)
man, I scheduled my first two calls for this week and I put in my two weeks at work this past Saturday. So everybody came I actually went to work earlier today and it was my first day and everybody was like, you just stepped down a month ago. H like to part-time and you're quitting already. I'm like, you know what? Sorry guys, but I got bigger
Rahaf (12:01)
Mm-hmm.
NIkki (12:01)
and better things to do. And it's been crazy. And for me, I think my advice would be like
This is definitely something where sometimes it helps when you have that I'm done moment. Because you really need to be all in it. Like, yes, you know, if you have like a part-time job, if your mindset is in still in between the blue pill and the red pill world, it's hard to get the results that you want with how quickly you want it. Like you have to be I'm done, I'm all in.
Like, yes, it's awesome to be like plugged into this mindset, but it's not like you're one hundred percent all the time. I think like it didn't click for me until week seven or eight. So like the first couple of weeks, it was still very, very up and down for me.
But I knew I needed to kind of be able to recognize like the strategy. So I would call my friend. I'm like, hey, can you just come over real quick and let's go through this? I think I called her maybe like two or three times a week, or I would just watch the actual calls just to see. And then you just have to be okay with being uncomfortable, especially if you don't have the experience. It's very nerve-wracking to join those mock calls, especially when you feel like you're very inexperienced.
But one thing that really clicked in my head when joining those like guided mock calls, it's just like, hey, this is practice. You know, it's okay if you're wrong. It's okay. I would rather be wrong because now you can tell me which direction to go. So I was like,
Rahaf (13:29)
Yeah.
NIkki (13:30)
I was so nervous in the beginning and I was like, I don't wanna do this, I don't wanna do this, but it's like, hey, this is practice. You have to be able to do it. You're not gonna get anywhere unless you practice. So yeah, it's been
Rahaf (13:40)
Yeah, yeah. And it's just
crazy too because you went from full time, you stepped down to part time, and now you're just
NIkki (13:45)
Mm.
Rahaf (13:46)
two weeks' notice, all in, landed this new role. And I love how you got resourceful with how can I just mock? How can I mock with this person, this person? How can I just go in the mock chat and find some girl to mock in there, get on this call with this person? Like you doing that got you in the energy of it, and you didn't have a lick of sales experience. You even
NIkki (14:04)
No, no, nothing. I I
never even thought I would take this route, like ever in my entire life. Like I've been around a couple people who were in sales, but I like, gosh, good luck with that. There's no way I'm talking to people like that. But now it's like, wow, I can I can really, really do this. And it's it's pretty crazy. In the beginning, also like with anybody who's nervous about doing these mock calls, like I was super nervous. I would read through the mock chat. I wouldn't even post in it. If I saw somebody wanted to mock.
I would just message them like independently and just
Rahaf (14:36)
He's
NIkki (14:37)
be like, Hey, you know, do you mind stepping on
Rahaf (14:39)
I didn't know that.
NIkki (14:40)
this call? No, I would. Like I was mo I was scared to even put anything on the mock chat 'cause I'm like, God, I don't want like five or six different girls to join this. Let me just message them
Rahaf (14:50)
Heh.
NIkki (14:50)
one by one, just so I can kind of just like get over my nerves. So I would just like message them directly.
Rahaf (14:57)
That makes your story just so much more beautiful because you just it's like it's scary at first, but look at the reward of showing up. Like you just you started dipping your toes in, like just a little dip here, a little dip there, looked in the framework, mocked here, and then all of a sudden you just immersed, you built the confidence, you showed up so hard, and then everything is just it happens fast. It happens so fast,
NIkki (15:20)
Yeah.
Rahaf (15:20)
doesn't it?
NIkki (15:22)
It does. It does so much. I think even like even learning sales here definitely helped me out with my job now with working with patients. And then I remember kind of talking to patients and using it as a way to practice conversation. And it would go
Rahaf (15:35)
Yeah.
NIkki (15:35)
easier with my patients. And I'm like, whoa, wait, this is a totally different conversation I had now versus like a couple months ago. So that was pretty cool how it all kind of integrated.
Rahaf (15:46)
Because
sales is communication. And I think so many of us don't even realize the confidence that we gain from learning sales. Because the actual sales framework, it's like, like I say, 10 to 20% of it. But the you learn how to communicate with people, like the relationships in your life start to shift, especially the NLP that we teach. It's being able to ask the right questions, get the commitment,
NIkki (16:06)
Yeah.
Rahaf (16:06)
get the consequence, like go those layers deep. Really just go deep with somebody. And when you have that skill set.
Not only do you become this like confident baddie that you just wanna keep showing up to calls, but you just you realize how much sales is service. Because at the end of
NIkki (16:21)
Yeah.
Rahaf (16:21)
the day, you're selling an offer that's gonna change somebody's life. It's not even like, I need to like sell this thing. It's like, no, it's a transformation. You're guiding somebody through a transformation.
NIkki (16:32)
Yeah, exactly. And you know what's funny? I don't think no, I messaged you about this. I think one of I couldn't attend the mock calls in the beginning and so I think I remember you finally did a mock call that was past my work time and I was like,
Rahaf (16:46)
Yeah.
NIkki (16:46)
okay, here we go, like it's time. And then that day I had a flat tire and I was like, my gosh, universe, like are you kidding me? I thought I was about to do this. But then I'm like, Is it not time? I I had a flat tire.
And then I remember I was like, gosh, I feel like Rahaf made that specific mock call just so I can get on it. And I couldn't even do
Rahaf (17:05)
Yeah.
NIkki (17:06)
it. know.
can't believe that it was like right after I got out of work, I saw my wheel and I was like, There's no way right now. So then I messaged you and I was like, can we please reschedule this? I'm so sorry. So I'm just saying like sometimes it's like you really have to like fight, fight through it. And I don't think I would
Rahaf (17:27)
Yeah, yeah.
NIkki (17:29)
have become the person that I am now without like facing these obstacles because
I'm a lot more confident in myself and what I have to do and the type I want to live, especially when you're surrounded with people who work in the hospital. Ninety-five percent of those people are in the blue pill world, like safety, safety, safety, you know, the job. Like even today when people found out where they're leaving, they're like, what are you doing? like sales, oof, okay, good luck. I mean, like, do you have a base pay? Do you have this? And I'm like, you know what, I got it.
Rahaf (18:01)
Yeah.
NIkki (18:01)
Everybody's
telling you that you need the safety, but it's like, you know what? I
Rahaf (18:04)
Yeah. Yeah.
NIkki (18:06)
know who I am. I know exactly where I need to be. Like I got it. You guys are fine. I'll see you guys. You know. Yeah.
Rahaf (18:09)
Yeah. Yeah. Cause you've done that. You tried that. You tried
the life of safety. And also, too,
NIkki (18:16)
Exactly.
Rahaf (18:17)
is like, how safe actually is it? Retire when you're 65, you get this 401k, this pension that's barely gonna pay you living, and then you get to start living your life at 65? Or what about the random layoffs? How do you know that you're not gonna get laid off like so many other people in this safe world have? So it's like
Shifting to I am the safety, I'm creating my safety, I am betting on myself. And I love that you said too, you're like, because it's the person that you've become on this journey, you can't just snap your fingers and be a remote closer. You have to become the person that you need to be, not even just learn the skill set. That's why it's like a lot of people, most people, like 99.9% of people that join a sales training program or just anything in the Red Pill world, there it's like a forest fire happens in their life. Like there's a
burning
down that happens. There's a cleansing period. People are moving. People are breaking up with their partners. Like there is, they're becoming a version of themselves
NIkki (19:10)
Yeah.
Rahaf (19:11)
where things just start drifting apart because you're rising in that to become the person who can hold that life, who can hold $10K, $20K, $30K months.
NIkki (19:21)
Yeah yeah, exactly. And I mean, with my journey, it's definitely been like up and down. It's not like a straight shot. So with everybody that always feels like, Hey, like I have to be in this mindset all the time, sometimes it's okay to take a step back and just be like, Hey, like, I have to calm down 'cause I had stepped down to part time for my job. I took a week off to spend time with my family, you know, and I was like, Okay, like I really have to focus on revenue room right now because this is
This is where it's at, that's my next step. And I was spending time with my family and I was like, gosh, it's another mock call. I was actually still nervous. It was that Thursday one. That Thursday one. I was at my parents' house and I was like, there was an I that regular mindset of mine. I was like, hey, maybe just skip it. You know, it's fine. Like if you're not ready, you're not ready. And then that new mindset is like, you are never gonna get anywhere unless you you're uncomfortable and you take that step. And that was the call I did that Thursday.
Which was Illuminate. And
Rahaf (20:22)
Wow.
NIkki (20:22)
then so I was just like that was insane because I keep thinking back. I was like, I was such in a mindset where I was like, you know, maybe I can just take the next call, the next call. But I took that one specifically. And then it turned out the way that it did. And even that Friday, the next day, I think you had scheduled the the next one.
I I just drove back to Vegas. I was in California, so I had just driven back to Vegas. It was like 30 minutes until the call on that Friday. I was like, okay, maybe I have time to take a nap. And I was napping. And then I almost skipped that call too. Because I was like, you know
Rahaf (21:02)
Hey.
NIkki (21:02)
what? You know, I'm so tired. Please, like, let me I'll just skip this. I just need rest. I literally just got back from California, but then I was like, no, I need to get up and I need to do this. And so I got up.
And that's when you had let me know about that offer owner. And everything from there just kind of like changed. And it was insane 'cause I keep thinking, like, what if I didn't show up for that call? You know, what if I missed that opportunity? And it's like sometimes like the most uncomfortable decisions you make are the biggest rewards.
Rahaf (21:33)
I just got chills by you saying that because I was gonna say the
NIkki (21:34)
Ha ha ha.
Rahaf (21:35)
same thing. There's so many what-ifs here. What if you didn't push through that call when you wanted the refund? What if you didn't push through to show up on the guided mock call? What if you didn't cut down to part-time? What if you didn't trust yourself to keep going and to show up on that one call on that one Thursday that literally changed the trajectory of your life?
NIkki (21:53)
Yeah, yeah, definitely. Like that one call.
Rahaf (21:54)
Like the butterfly effect.
NIkki (21:56)
It is, it is. And then I just remember like I think I went out and I was doing some errands and I'm just sitting in my car and I'm like, What what just happened? Like these past two days? Like, is this real? Like everything has happened so fast, I'm just trying to catch up it because I'm like I I can't even it's so hard to wrap my head around it sometimes because like yes, it's fast, you know, like
I'm still on week ten and I have all of this weeks left to still work on everything and I got the offer. But leading up to week ten, like it wasn't like, up and up and up like some days I would be up, some days it'd be down. But some you just have to keep going because that one call can really just change everything.
Rahaf (22:40)
Yeah.
It certainly is not a linear journey at all. It is like, I'm amazing. Like after that first call, you're like up here. And then the more time
NIkki (22:50)
Yeah.
Rahaf (22:51)
that goes by before you plug in, you like shoot down. You start talking to people. You start getting in your head. You start down yourself. You're like, did I make the right decision?
NIkki (22:56)
Yeah.
Rahaf (22:57)
And then you plug in and you go up a little bit. And then you have another moment. You just crash and you go up a little bit more.
NIkki (23:02)
Yeah.
Rahaf (23:03)
Up a little more. You crash a little bit. But now the mindset's stronger. Now the shifting is stronger.
Now
the voices are all around you. And now they're like, are you sure? Can you really do that? And you just you're so trained, it becomes more automatic because you've programmed yourself to be this resilient person that you need to be to be on an offer like this to hold this type of life. And then now it just gets easier. Now it's just kind of like, you're gonna have days where you go up and down, but this is the version that you need to be to be a closer. Because what's gonna happen when you have five calls in your calendar? You get a text from this person, your friend, and it's this like just
Bummed you out. It just made you so mad. But guess what? Five minutes later you have a call. What do you do? Well, you use
NIkki (23:41)
Yeah.
Rahaf (23:42)
everything you learn, snap shift, lock in, because you can't let stuff like that get in the way of something this important. So that's why
NIkki (23:48)
Yeah.
Rahaf (23:49)
we need to be this person that no matter what's happening, no matter the wind that's blowing, because in high-ticket sales, there's a lot of wind, a lot of wind. We need to find our feet to touch the ground and to be grounded no matter what the wind is, because we are how we ground.
And you found that version of yourself that no matter what, you are stable in all the wind around you, no matter the storm.
NIkki (24:12)
Yeah, exactly. And it's I think with those first couple of weeks when I felt like I was like, my gosh, I'm so lost. I'm looking at this map and I'm like, I don't know anything that's happening and I felt like nothing was changing. But the thing I really focused on was when we had our call and you were like, just think in that 2.0 version of yourself and change the small things around you. So it wasn't even like, I'm all of a sudden so confident. Like the things that would change it's like
Hey, like I woke thirty I woke up thirty minutes earlier just to make myself cereal. I made coffee or like I went to the gym after work and I was just trying to really like pickpoint certain things that I wanted in that lifestyle and tried to bring it towards what I have now, you know, just to remind myself like hey, this is where you wanna go, this is where you wanna end up. So
Rahaf (24:59)
That's how you do it too. It's not this all or
NIkki (25:01)
Mm.
Rahaf (25:01)
nothing thing of snap your fingers. I have this lifestyle. It starts with
a little ways. It's like, how can I just have a little bit? I want slow mornings, okay? Instead of a two hour morning, how can I have an extra 30 minutes this morning so I feel my slow morning? How do I move a little bit slower in my shower? So I'm not just scrubbing myself all fast with a loofah? How do I just take my time while I brush my hair and do my face routine? And then before you know it, the frequency of the life that you're living now, now the opportunities start pouring in. It's like, wait.
What did you tell me yesterday on the call? Tell me about how your day looked like yesterday, what your morning looked like, what you were able to do.
NIkki (25:33)
my gosh, yesterday I really tried to live it as if like I had like the calls. So in the morning I got up, I had my like overnight oats, I watched a show, I went to the gym, I came back, and then I came on the call and I was like, wow, this is so cool. And then after the call, I went and I ran some errands. I went to my aunt's house and then saw I met her new dog. So so cute. And then I came back and then I took another call with the offer. So I was just like
Wow, this is amazing. Like I'm doing stuff in the middle on Monday and it's like 2 p.m. Like what the heck? I would have never seen a Monday at 2 p.m. for another 35 years if I didn't take this sleep. Like sitting once like that mindset really changed, I remember just sitting in my office and I was like, nothing feels the same anymore. Like I've been sitting in this office for three years, but I'm like, this all feels so
weird and you could just tell that your body is like trying to push you out of a situation that no longer suits you. And so I was like, it's very scary to like even quit your job without having that safety net. And like really with me, I was like, do I do it? I'm still in the middle of my off like my program. I don't even have an offer. Like, sure I can try to make it to week 12, but in my head I was like
There was just something nagging in my head like you do not belong here anymore. You do not belong here. So it's like all in or all out. And that's why I was like, you know what? I think I'm gonna go all in. I'm gonna go all in and then here I am ten weeks later and it's just been a crazy journey.
Rahaf (27:11)
And
the fact that you still have two more months in, because that like it's four
NIkki (27:14)
Yeah.
Rahaf (27:14)
months. So like the moving, you thought you were moving slow in the beginning. You thought you were like
NIkki (27:20)
Yeah.
Rahaf (27:20)
behind. Like that's the funny part is like all you did was just lock in in one moment and then everything collapsed. Like timeline was just moving so much faster. So it really was like one month of you just really going all in. That's how fast it can be. And you connected with Rya Rya's a perfect example. Four weeks she was taking calls.
So
it happens so fast, but all you did was lock in and I remember you saying you went back and you watched that mock call. Like what did it feel like going back and watching that mock call that changed the course of your life?
NIkki (27:49)
I watched it like twenty times. I was like
Rahaf (27:51)
Yeah.
NIkki (27:53)
I thought I was possessed 'cause sometimes like when
Rahaf (27:55)
Ha ha.
NIkki (27:55)
I was listening back at it, I was like, How did I even come up with those things to say? Like I just remember all of the advice you had given me from I think the mock before. And then it just like really like I don't even know like what happened. You cause you know, you have these conversations and sometimes you blank out, you know. So rewatching that I'm like
What the heck? What was I thinking at that moment and who was I? And it was just insane. And you know what's funny? that was only the second time. So like the first couple mock calls, I just like couldn't get things right. Like I was speaking very robotically and I was like, I feel like I'm so focused on what to say next, I can't even understand what that person is telling me. So I think it was only my second mock call that I I put the miro over everything.
So I couldn't even see anyone's face. I couldn't see mine. I couldn't see who the person I was talking to. I just had the questions in front of me. And it was just like listening. And it was listening. And that's how that call happened.
Rahaf (28:58)
Yes.
NIkki (28:59)
Because sometimes you get nervous, you know, especially when you're in a group setting and you feel like you don't know everything. It's very nerve-wracking, but you know, you just gotta cover everybody's faces. That way it seems like you're just by yourself and you're only talking to one person. That's really what helped me.
Rahaf (29:15)
I love that you found
your way of like you notice. You're like, okay, here's what I'm noticing. I'm noticing because that's how it is in the beginning. It's like we're so focused on the framework that we forget who's in front of us. And that's normal. It's like first understanding the framework, then the tonality comes in, then the inflection, then the body language, then the confidence like really starts to pour in. But to get yourself to that point, it's like, okay, I just need less eyes on me right now. So let's just put it on speaker view and just make this
NIkki (29:40)
Yeah.
Rahaf (29:41)
full screen miro Like I love that you did that because I've
genuinely felt like it was just you and I remember you were mocking with Shannon, right? It was Shannon you were mocking with.
NIkki (29:49)
Mm, yeah.
Rahaf (29:50)
It was just you two It felt like a real call. I was so immersed into it. I don't even think I like paused you. It was just like I was so locked in. And that was the exact mock call that I sent to that offer owner of like, you've got to see this girl. And she watched
NIkki (30:01)
Yeah.
Rahaf (30:03)
it. She's like, I want to get on an interview with her. And then
NIkki (30:05)
Yeah.
Rahaf (30:06)
you had the interview and she's like, I love Nikki so much. We got another call in. So it really like everything can change. And
your
journey is like it's just so beautiful because you came from like the trenches. You were in the trenches and you fought. And
NIkki (30:20)
Yeah. Yeah.
Rahaf (30:21)
I told you, I was like, we're gonna fight for you. Like you're not getting out of this this easily. Not because, my God, I need the money. I could care less. But I'm not the type of coach to have somebody give up because I know that this is what happens in the beginning. It's like this is the moment. You push through this moment right here, this is where your life changes. And I'm not gonna be the one to be like, okay, just give up.
Yeah, don't don't do that extra rep. It's like going to the gym. Literally, like going to the gym. Every mock is a rep. And it's like that first one is not gonna feel good. You're gonna be sore. You're probably gonna feel like a train hit you. You might not be able to get out of bed. You're gonna feel all sorts of what am I doing? Can I even do this? But it's
NIkki (30:57)
Yeah.
Rahaf (30:57)
just it's just for your brain. But you freaking push through. And I'm just celebrating you so hard, Nikki. Like, I I'm excited to like have a part two of this episode six months from now and like talk about it even more.
NIkki (31:04)
Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. I know. Like
I I I was the most like am still the most skeptical, skeptical person ever. Like when it comes to investing in these types of programs, I did a program a long time ago. It wasn't for sales, but it didn't work out. And I was like, you know what? I'm never gonna do this again. And even like in the beginning
listening to your podcast of like the student success stories and I'm like, okay, yeah, sure. Like where are they? Like, where are they really in their journey? Like, is it really real? You know? And then when everything was kind of happening with that call and then getting on the offer, I was just like so amazed. And at that point, even before I had gotten the offer, like what I was writing down was, I want to be that person who shares this
Rahaf (31:57)
Yeah.
NIkki (31:57)
win.
I'm gonna get I ever literally told myself I was like, my gosh, I wanna be that person who gets on Rahaf's podcast about a success story. Because really, like I was the most skeptical person. I didn't think that these things were real. I was like, there's no way that that would even be me. And I was just like, and once your mindset changes, I was like, you know what? That is, that is me.
And I'm gonna get on there. And when you emailed me asking me to be in the podcast, I was like, There's no way this is so cool. I was like,
Rahaf (32:28)
He hehehe Full circle moment.
NIkki (32:32)
Yeah, full circle. Cause it was I think in the beginning when that second call after I freaked out, I was I asked you, I was like, one of the questions I should have asked was, Do you have any students who like, you know, had already gone through this program and what were there the results? And you were like, Yeah, you know, like I'll definitely let you like I'll send you some people.
You know, and then I'm those people now. Like I'm one of those people. Like that's so crazy.
Rahaf (32:55)
Yes, you are. I remember
when you said that too. I was like, Nikki, they're in the room. Like they're in the room. Connect with them. And then you found
NIkki (33:02)
Yeah, yeah.
Rahaf (33:04)
Rya And then you found even in the curriculum, like all the student success stories. But it's like it's just that beautiful full circle moment where like if you have to put in words
What was it that was different about Revenue Room that not only helped you this time around because you're like, that other program didn't help? And it's like, yeah, maybe alignment, but what was it that helped you get there so quickly to have that trust, to have that confidence and to really just go all in the way that you did?
NIkki (33:28)
Honestly it's the women in there. Like it's insane. You know, sometimes with people with a room full of women, you're also kinda like, Ooh, like, you know, is everybody genuine? You you you kind of have a wall up just to see. And then even like with the share your wins, when I was going through it and everybody seemed really happy, I was like, Mm, I'm still very skeptical about this. Like, are all the women in here like really that happy about everything? I was like, There's no way. And then as the program went through and I met more and more of the girls in there.
Every single one of them is so genuine genuine and just like so willing to help. Like that's the thing. I remember telling my sister the other day, I think I had got off of a mock call with LJ. Mind you, this is the first time I mocked with LJ in all of those weeks. Just me and her. And then like after our mocks, we were kind of just talking as if we've known each other for 10 years. And I feel like those are the conversations you have with every single one of the girls in there.
Even though you've only met them for the first time. And we're all on the same page, like all wanting to change our lives. And it's just like everybody is so genuine and so nice and just so willing to see you succeed. Not even just succeed themselves, but willing to see you succeed. So everyone is so helpful. Ane, Haley, Rya, Abbey my gosh. If I didn't name you right now, I'm so sorry. I'm like
Rahaf (34:49)
Hee hee hee.
NIkki (34:50)
my head is like about to explode at how crazy. Like this room.
is so amazing and also like Rahaf, you've been the best coach. Like even though like there were times I was like, I don't want to say anything in the mock chat. I don't want to go on those mock calls. You're like, Nikki, you better go on there. You definitely pushed me. You made times that way I could attend and it was just like you just would not let me get back down to like that energy. Cause even when we start calls I'm like hey I'm sorry I'm like really sick right now like
Can we just, you know, have this conversation about the offer? You're like, well, nope, we're not gonna be in this mental state. Let's talk about the good things first. And then I was like, my gosh, like shoot, yeah, I need to be grateful about these things. Cause it's like, I cannot be the person I need to be when I'm like so, so low. So you did not let up for sure. You did not let up. But it's been amazing because it's like here we are now. I was when you when you had
connected me with Veena in my head I was like, my gosh, like this is my own coach vouching for me. Like you do not get that in other places, you know? It's like I can't even believe she's thinking of me in this way. Like that's so crazy. Like it was very, very mind boggling and I'm so shocked and so appreciative of everything.
Rahaf (36:11)
Hmm, I where do I even start with what you said? going on this journey, you need community. It's like it is a non-negotiable. Like being in the Red pill world, like with how scary it is, especially with ever like almost everybody in our physical world doubting and saying, Can you do this? Are you sure? It's like we need our dominant energy to shift. We need that baseline frequency. And it's
NIkki (36:28)
Yeah.
Rahaf (36:28)
also why, like, I I'm not kidding when I say like I'm very selective of who I bring in there for that reason. Because I don't want someone in there to have any sort of low frequency, not positive, like all the time, toxic.
Positivity. It's like, no, but we're gonna find the positive in every situation, use that as the baseline, and then work through constructively anything that we're working through from that base. And that's
NIkki (36:50)
Yeah.
Rahaf (36:50)
the type of person that I let in here. Someone who's willing to be open, someone who's willing to be coachable. If someone's gonna come in there and ruin the vibe of the group, I've literally kicked people out because of that, because I'm like, nope, I can't risk anything impacting this frequency that I have in here.
And
yeah, I I totally vouch for you. Like, I don't do that with everybody. Like the people that stand out to me, it's like it's my, it's my word, it's my reputation to be able to send somebody and connect somebody, especially with an elite offer like that. Like you did that, you showed up in that, and you made me want to just find a way to connect you with her. So that just shows is like we think of this certainty of like, yes, the job board, the certainty of the job board. But you had the you got to a point where you had the certainty in yourself. You're like, nope, I am the certainty.
I am the safety net. I am what's secure. I am the secure job, me. Because in the high-ticket sales world, it's like you're in a place of choice. You're the asset. It's not a job. It's a role. So you design your
NIkki (37:43)
Yeah.
Rahaf (37:43)
life around this. And now all of a sudden it's like you got your slow mornings. You're going to the gym. You got your overnight oats. And
NIkki (37:49)
Yeah.
Rahaf (37:50)
it's just incredible how fast it can happen because you just simply plugged in.
NIkki (37:56)
Yeah, definitely. And then I with the offer too and I I knew that's when I really was a different person was that when the offer or I had an interview with offer, I was just like, you know what? If I get it, I get it. If I don't, I don't. You know, 'cause I leave it up to God whether or not this is aligned for me or not. 'Cause at this point it's like you don't wanna just take the next thing 'cause sure, like with sales too, you want a little bit of safety, but it's like you wanna be aligned with what you're selling.
And so if it's not aligned, it's not aligned. There's definitely gonna be a better option for me. But yeah, just being like confident in myself and like having the stability in myself, I think was like the biggest mindset change. And I knew like I wanted to get out of my job and I was like, okay, the next year for my next birthday, I do not want to be in the same place. Like even starting the program in my head, I was like, okay, there you know, like
I think I started in June. I was like, okay, by December, by December, you know, like it's gonna change. It's gonna change. You just have to make it those months. And I was like, my god, it's only what, August? And everything
Rahaf (39:04)
Yeah.
NIkki (39:04)
has changed already. I'm like, dang, I can only imagine what December's gonna look like at this point.
Rahaf (39:10)
Time operates differently here. And I remember you saying that too. You were talking about December. And I'm like, you're talking, talking. I'm like, it's gonna happen a lot faster than December, but we'll go ahead
NIkki (39:19)
Yeah.
Rahaf (39:20)
and underpromise and undershoot. And I love too what you said. when you got that offer, you said, Well, I'm just excited to see what the experience is like, what the interview process is like, and that's the level
NIkki (39:30)
Yeah.
Rahaf (39:30)
of attack detachment that you need.
When
you start applying to roles. You're in a position of choice. So when we teach the girls in Revenue Room to start applying and looking at what's out there, it's like, have your options. You, Nikki, you had one. You landed your first role first. Ha ha. So it's like anything can happen.
NIkki (39:43)
I know. That was Yeah. That was crazy.
No, really. And I was just like, dang, the first time I was like, shoot, honestly, like at that point I think I was like, there's no way I'm gonna get it on the first time. So let me just use this as experience, you know? And it was just like a whole different interview than any of the interviews I've ever been in. I've been in healthcare for years. So this type of interview was like, wow, it was just trying to be aligned with the offer owner and seeing if
you she would want to work with me and I would want to work with her and that's like something so different versus being like, this is what I can do, this is what I can offer you. Like, will you employ me? You know? And it's like, no, it goes both ways. And when it goes both ways, you can really see like the value in that type of job versus thinking like I work in a hospital and you're expendable. Cause really like in sales, you you're not as expendable as any nine to five worker. You know, you have a skill set.
That you can take with you for life.
Rahaf (40:46)
That keeps getting better. Like the better you get
NIkki (40:48)
Yeah.
Rahaf (40:48)
at sales, the more money you make, the more deals you can close, the more of an asset you become for the offer owner. it's completely contingent on your skill set instead of the amount of hours you're working. That's the best part about sales, is you just get to keep
NIkki (41:00)
Yeah. Yeah.
Rahaf (41:02)
getting better and better because there's layers of NLP, layers of sales that there's literally no finish line for. And for you, you know, I'm curious, what would you say to the woman listening right now that is
Right there on the fence. She's like, I feel so much resonance with Nikki's story. I want this life so bad. I want it to happen in two months. I want this. Like, what would you say to her right now?
NIkki (41:28)
Just do it. Even though it's scary and there's sometimes when you feel like imposter syndrome. I felt imposter syndrome literally I still feel it sometimes because it's like there's no way that this had happened, but just do it. Even though you're uncomfortable and you're nervous and you're like shaking before you even go into a call, do it. And practice. Like find ways to practice. Like like I said, message the girls individually. Grab your friends because they're really
there isn't a right or wrong answer, especially with this type of skill set too, because you the person that you become, like one, you're more confident and two, if you become more conversational, that just opens opportunities for you just to meet random people. You know, like you could be at a bar sitting next to somebody and you don't even know that they probably own like a bil like million dollar company and that's having those skills, being able to have those conversations, like just opens up so many doors. And, you know
And if you're stuck in an office and you're looking at round and you're like, damn, I have to do this for another thirty years, leave. Like I'm sorry, you gotta go. Cause there's no way I'm gonna spend my life just sitting in an office and I I wanna see my family, I wanna travel, and I don't wanna wait like on PTO in order to travel. And I think that was the biggest thing for me because I was missing out on opportunities. Like my parents will be like, Hey, are you coming home for Christmas?
Like, no, I can't. I work Christmas, I work New Year's, and I have nephews who are like three and four now, and I don't want to miss miss those memories, you know. So the biggest thing for me too was I think my sister wanted to take my nephews to Legoland on a Monday or Tuesday. And I'm like, there's no way I can get those days off. So it's fine, like just go without me. And I'm like, dang, I just missed out on that. Like life is not about working.
in that cubicle just to make as much money as you can. Like sure. If if you do and you stay there and you're waking and you're making $200K, like are you working all those hours as well? Like when do you have time to experience life? So if you're on that precipice and you know you resonate with my story, just do it because I am probably the most normal girl who has been in healthcare for years, did not think sales
was even a possibility until until two months ago. And I'm like thirty one. So the it's been years. So and it's never too late to make a career change. That's really like the biggest thing too. Like your life can change in an instant. So don't be scared to start now. Like don't wait the five years because even if it changes in five years, wouldn't you wish you'd want it to change now?
So yeah, do it.
Rahaf (44:17)
I
it's all about like putting yourself in the right position where you can look back in two months and did I at least move forward a little bit more in two months than I would have if I didn't do something? And I think we see all or nothing mindset of like, I have to be here. It's like, well, every little step that you took is why you're here and just believing in yourself and being in the community, believing yourself. So I love that you said that. And it's like, yeah, I mean you got like
girls that are just like fresh out of college doing this. And then you got girls that are in their 30s, like me and you, that are on this journey. And there's literally no right time to do this because you create
NIkki (44:49)
Yeah.
Rahaf (44:49)
the right time. When you had enough and you have that I'm done moment. And I remember too, Nikki, you're like, I want to be able to like build a life for my future family. I want to be like you start thinking about your family and you start thinking about like the biological clock and being able to just put yourself in the best position to be able to support them and have the time to spend with them.
That gets to be the
NIkki (45:08)
Yeah.
Rahaf (45:09)
I'm done moment too. That's the driver. It's like you need that big why and you need that when the days get hard.
NIkki (45:15)
Yeah, definitely. Because I was thinking too, I'm like, a lot of the people who I work with at the moment, they're like working up until the week before they give birth. And I'm like, What are you doing? Walking around to this hospital. You look like you're about to give birth right now. And then they come back like four weeks later. I'm like, Four weeks? That's insane. So that was my biggest thing too. Like I want the time
To have with my nephews, to have with my future kids, and to be able to take my future kids to like Oland on a random weekday and just like be home with them, you know? Cause it's like there's a lot of couples who even have the nine to fives and both parents still have to work. Then who's taking care of your kid? Like you're missing all those years. So yeah, definitely. It's that was one of the big things for me too, to travel, to, you know, have the time to spend with my family. And I can't wait to see how
My life will be in December. We can do an update. We'll see. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Rahaf (46:11)
We are. We're gonna do an update. Literally, we're gonna do an update in December. Like, honestly,
and that what's cool too is like you can now spend Christmas with your family and work at the same time because it's not work. It's like it's not even like work. It's
NIkki (46:22)
Yeah.
Rahaf (46:23)
like you're gonna be doing something, you're gonna be literally getting paid to have conversations with people. And take
NIkki (46:27)
Yeah.
Rahaf (46:28)
your laptop with you to wherever you go, pause, take a break, go have Christmas dinner, come back, take another call. Like
NIkki (46:37)
Yeah.
Rahaf (46:37)
I did
I literally did that last Christmas. I took my laptop with me, took calls in Chicago with my boyfriend's family. And it's like paused, took a call, go had when I had pizza with them, came back. It's like that gets to be the life that you get to have. And you have
NIkki (46:51)
Yeah.
Rahaf (46:51)
that now.
NIkki (46:52)
Yeah. I mean, right now even I I planned that's why I wanted to quit my job easily in December. That was my timeline, because I wanted to go to the Philippines beginning of next year. I haven't been to the Philippines since I was thirteen years old. And I remember just thinking when I I got the offer, I was like, wow, I can just go and I don't even care when I come back. Like I can spend a month there and like not even care about PTO. I don't have to miss any more Christmases, any more New Year's, like any more.
birthdays, I can just go wherever I want to, work from everywhere. And that is like the most amazing feeling ever.
Rahaf (47:30)
You did that. To go from as
NIkki (47:32)
I know. Yeah.
Rahaf (47:35)
skeptical, like from like I'm thinking of the podcast name, like to go from the level of skepticism to where you are now, it's like there's not a day that goes by that you should not have that moment where you're like, I am so grateful that I fought for myself and I believed in myself and I kept going. Because every day that you believed, even when there was no glimmer of evidence, you were the evidence, it's why you're here.
And I'm just celebrating you so hard.
NIkki (47:59)
Yeah. Thank
you, thank you. Yeah, fight for yourself 'cause nobody else is gonna do it for you, you know. You can be in a room full of people who are very negative and very positive, but the only person that's gonna make a change is you and you have to take that step forward yourself. Nobody else is gonna do that for you.
Rahaf (48:19)
And I think the harsh reality that we start to learn is nobody has your best interests in mind but you.
NIkki (48:27)
Exactly. Exactly. No partner, no sibling, no family, 'cause you know, they say they want the best for you, but they don't really know and it's you, so. Mm-hmm.
Rahaf (48:36)
No. Only you know. Only you know what's best
for you. So that's like that's that's the part where community is so important where you start to believe in yourself. And my gosh, Nikki, I'm like, I'm so excited for part two. I'm so excited to hear how it goes with your role. And
NIkki (48:49)
I know.
Rahaf (48:52)
let me just ask you, is there anything else that you still like wanna say, anything else that you want to share before we say goodbye?
NIkki (49:03)
Man, life can change in the drop of a hat. And really like sometimes you don't realize that until a lot later in your life. But you just have to take the risk, really. Like that's the biggest thing. Take the risk. You know, you you're not gonna get you're not gonna change anything just being in the comfort of your own zone.
And I'm a Taurus, so stability, comfort is where I live. That is where I live. But I think with me and what I learned about myself is that having that confidence and having in the stability in yourself, everything else can be chaotic. But as long as you're that for yourself, everything can change and you can get to anywhere you want to be. And
Honestly, saying these words right now was not something I would have believed would have come out of my mouth two months ago, let alone for the first thirty years of my life. Like that's
Rahaf (50:02)
Well.
NIkki (50:02)
insane. And you hear you hear everybody saying that. It's like, you know, you just gotta believe, you gotta do it. But I didn't really think that would have happened until recently. So the timeline doesn't really matter.
Rahaf (50:15)
You are you are the timeline. Like you get to create
NIkki (50:17)
Mm-hmm.
Rahaf (50:18)
the timeline. I didn't even know you were a Taurus. I don't think I knew. I'm like, that makes so much sense. Taurus like to have their feet on the ground. It's like if you don't have your feet
NIkki (50:22)
Yeah. Yeah.
Rahaf (50:25)
on the ground, things are in the air. It's like, my God. So the fact that being an earth sign, needing that grounding and still finding that trust in yourself, oof, you can do anything now, Nikki.
NIkki (50:36)
Yeah.
I know and I'm excited to see where it goes. Who knows in December I might be like remote and not even in Vegas at the moment.
Rahaf (50:46)
Yeah. The world
is your home now, your living room. There is no like you get to choose where your home is.
NIkki (50:54)
Mm, exactly. And I'm excited to choose where the next place is.
Rahaf (50:59)
Yay. Well, you know, I'm gonna put some links in the show notes for you, listener. I'm gonna put a lobby link. So this is my free community. So you can just be in the space, be in circle. This is the platform where Revenue Room is. You get to literally see the share your wins channel. You're plugged into the space. And then when you feel ready, not when you feel ready, I'm gonna resay that because readiness is not a feeling. When you decide you're ready, then you can take that next step and join Revenue Room. But even just plugging in, I made a full like free mini course is in there. And then also too, if you're like Rahaf no, I'm
I'm ready now. Like, tell me like what to do so I can be like Nikki. Slide into my DMs. Send me a DM. Tell me you just watched this episode with Nikki. I'll put my handle in the in the show notes as well. And then just keep your eyes peeled for next time Nikki comes on and we'll dive even deeper. But I'll put some links in the show notes. And you can just always find me on Instagram. Even just like tell you listened to this episode. I want to know who's listening. I wanna just hear what breakthrough you had because there were so many nuggets in this.
NIkki (51:55)
man.
Yeah, please reach out to me too if you have any questions. Like I'm very open to that. So I will definitely help you guys out in any way, shape or form.
Rahaf (52:05)
Yeah, if you come into the lobby, you can literally DM, like you'll see us all in there. it's just like full transparency. You can talk to us. there's so many of us that are so happy to share our journey with you. Nikki's in there. Like you'll just see her. Everything's connected. Lobby, revenue room, everyone. So you can just like send a private DM to anyone and yeah, connect with the girls. Like plug into the frequency. That's literally what the space is for. So thank you so much, Nikki, for coming on here and sharing your story. This was so much fun.
NIkki (52:33)
Thank you, thank you. And I'm still like wrapping my head that I'm even one of these stories. Like that's insane to me. And I'm I'm excited to for somebody to see that and just be like, you know what? I think I will take the next step because it it's life changing. It really is.
Rahaf (52:50)
Hmm. Stay tuned for part two. And I will see you listeners next week on the Really Rahaf podcast. Bye.
